Production Management

During my senior year at SCAD, I primarily worked as a producer on our senior film, ‘Clicker’. Alongside my co-producer, Grey Colson, I was responsible for a variety of tasks such as meeting organization, deadline tracking, asset storage, bi-weekly production reports, communication management, and more.

Programs utilized to create production materials includes Google Workspace, Google Drive, Microsoft Office, SyncSketch, and Discord.

With over a 9-minute run-time and an ever-growing asset list, I needed to make a shot list that would contain detailed, but digestible information. Using Google Sheets' organization features I was able to create a comprehensive list of shot information, deadlines, and crew assignments all in one place.

Due to ever-changing Covid protocol and remote crew recruitment, Clicker cultivated a unique hybrid workspace. To keep track of a crew of 50+ artists across multiple timezones, I created a crew assignment list in Google Sheets for Grey and I to use. Our crew management was divided between us to track individual deadlines, assignments, and emergencies in a one-on-one setting.
To encourage a positive work environment, I established an open door policy with all crew members to discuss production concerns at any time.

In preparation for class meetings, I was responsible for organizing bi-weekly production assessment presentations (aka "Dailies") to show to our faculty supervisor and capstone peers. Dailies consisted of a variety of production information such as finalized art assets, deadlines, meeting notes, and animation critique.
These presentations were made using Google Slides to create clean, easily read slides that could be quickly edited to show the most up-to-date work before classes.

Animation reviews were organized by me and hosted through SyncSketch around 3-4 times a week. This allowed our director and animation lead to host live critique sessions that would store notes for animators to review whenever they needed them.
